December has been a month of many things. Engagement aside, there were other notables which I should have posted up but didn't due to lack of:
1. Time
2. Urgency
3. Interest?
Take your pick.
Example: This entry has been sitting on my draft list for two weeks and now finally I'll get it done and over with. Aku amat sibuk kerna aku orang
perasan penting di sini. Jadi aku biarkan entry ini dalam bentuk asalnya agar tidak hilang 'feel' dan 'mood' ceritanya. Whatever. Macam lah aku dapat berjuta ringgit menulis sampah ni. Ok here goes:
Hot on the trail of last weekend's big event, the past week had its share of history too. On Monday, I bid farewell to an old friend. She had been with me for the past 8 years. And after all that we have been through, it was finally time to say goodbye.
I will surely miss her. And although some part of her will remain with me, most of it will be in my memories. We've been through a lot together. Been to the far reaches of the country together. From Perlis to Kemaman, Kuantan to Klang. She had never failed me. Only recently when she knew her time was up.
Together, we shared a lot of memories. I even
blogged about her when I first started this blog. She's been with me through the good times, the turmoil and all the f***ed-up sessions. She's been the ride for my dates, the
making going out sessions, the long talks, the fights, the tears and the joys.
We go back a long way. And for that, I will always cherish her. For all the moments and the memories. Goodbye old friend. You've really served me well.
And today (
Ed: which is 14 December actually), I welcomed a new addition to the family. It wasn't easy to get her. All the waits and the hassles. Finally, after all these months she finally arrived. My pride and joy.
And before I forget, a happy belated anniversary to my other pride and joy: My blog!! Tup tup sudah 4 tahun kami bersama. Relationship aku sebelum ni tak penah pun cecah 4 tahun. Now there's a fact you didn't know huh?
I hope I'll keep on blogging forever. And I hope even though the passion isn't the same after a few years, the interest is still there to have a medium for me to channel my thoughts and other craps on the world wide web. Just so the world knows I actually have a life thank you very much.
There's lots of things to look forward to in 2008 most notably you-know-what. 2007 has been a year of ups and downs. I'll save that for another posting for you to get bored on. Here's wishing you a great new year! Thank you so much you people/person who reads my blog even though the numbers are shrinking by the day. Without you, this blog ceases to exist. Have a great one in 2008!!

The Ring
Last Saturday will certainly be an important milestone in my life.
December 8, 2007.
The day I got engaged to the greatest girl in the world.
The venue? A nice suburban neighbourhood in Puchong.
The time? A cool, breezy night around 8 pm.
The feeling? A good mixture of nervousness, happiness and a pinch of worriedness.
It went pretty well. Pretty well here means everyone went home happy without any complaints. If there were complaints, it was probably on the distance of the place. Hey, at least it's not Sabak Bernam (not that there's anything wrong with Sabak Bernam)
The food was great. The people were beautiful. And my family was happy. I had some friends come over too. And I had a great photographer as well *wink* wink*
You don't know how great it feels to have close friends by your side on important events in your life. It's a Mastercard moment. Priceless.
It's just sad that Papa and EE couldn't make it to the event. Papa because of his condition and EE, well she had to look after him and the baby. It was an emotional moment when Papa hugged me before we left for Puchong. You don't know how that really broke me. If it's one thing I crave from him, is that I hope I made him proud.
So a big THANK YOU to all who attended. You know who you are. I'm sorry I didn't make a huge announcement before the event. It was supposed to be a small family affair, but it turned out to be more than that. Don't worry. I'll make sure there's proper publicity before the big day. Thanks a lot guys and gals. I love you to bits.
To my fiance' (wow! I can't believe I could use that term), thanks a lot for being a great host. My family had nothing but kind words for the treatment and warmth you showered us with. I'm so glad I have you. I love you darling.
Six months and counting!

In your Face
Finally, I'm on Facebook.
It gets a bit of a while of getting used to. But hell, it's addictive, man.
Friendster? That's sooo 2003, dude.
