My father hasn't been well lately.
The family has been going through things you only thought happened to someone else. It's difficult times now. We're a small family but we've been keeping close strongly together.
When I learned of his illness, I almost didn't believe it. The strong, built man I've looked up to all my life is a pale figure of his former self. Despite the difficulties, we still remain positive. And most importantly, he's positive too. I know he's a fighter and we'll be together fighting with him.
I'm not a religious person, but in these difficult conditions I have my utmost trust in the Almighty. And I thank Allah for giving me that strength. To me and my family. We are just pawns in the huge chessboard that is life.
Please spare a short prayer for my father's well-being and good health. I would truly appreciate it. Thank you.
