It's been an eventful two weeks for me.
Like, really.
From fighting fires and finding my way in pitch darkness to a journey in finding my
'semangat bangsa', it's been a trip literally to hell and back. From physical agony to a mental brainwash, please tell me what I didn't go through. Maybe the mental tune-up was even worse than those heavy 15 kilo oxygen tanks.
Okay, I'm exaggerating.
It was 14.8 kilos.
More on those later. I'll dedicate an entry for each one, as usual. And as usual, it'll be ready in two months. Who said we didn't learn anything about the Gomen here?
I missed and
will miss a lot of good stuff for this month. First, it was Barcelona's victory in Paris. Never got the chance to even get a
glimpse of the game. That's the reason why Arsenal lost, by the way. And I'll miss my working class heroes of MyTeam taking on Malaysia tomorrow. Pray they succeed. Pray they succeed. If you really care about Malaysian football.
Apa yang Mat Salleh cakap tu? A kick in the teeth? Something like that.
You get the feeling that the theme is football here. All is not football. Waydeminit, the World Cup is just two weeks away. ALL is football. Whether you like it or not. And oh, Negeri Sembilan won the Super League. Whatever the hell happened to Selangor??
While the world awaits for the Greatest Show on Earth in Germany, I will be merrily spending my time in the far, far land of Kelantan. No, this is not a typo. I'm off to the land of
budu, dikir barat and fake Levi's. Yes, Nik Aziz. I'm looking forward to the warm, PAS welcome for us. Mu tunggu kawe deh...
And lastly, a good and close friend will end his bachelorhood this weekend. Congratulations to Kuman and Nad. Sorry I can't be there to see you, buddy. All the best and may you live happily ever after.
*insert any song from Notting Hill soundtrack here* Now where dik I puk det car stiker deh?
