Wanted: More Meetings

I got a nice surprise today. There was a check in the mail for me! I never thought that I would use that term. Check in the mail. Seems so 1980's.
I never expected it, so that explains my excitement. It was from the local authority here. Seems that I am paid for attending their meetings. Wahlauu! And I used to hate meetings. There was always a meeting at my first job dulu. And let me tell you those meetings were not friendly ever. You either get bashed or you're the one bashing people. Of course, I being the budak baru would always be at the end of it.
But now it looks like this meeting thing might be good afterall. It's not a million dollars, but okaylah for a few hours of discussion and talk. And not to mention the makan karipap sessions. I don't know who's idea it is, but someone there really knows how to attract a crowd...hehe.
So I will be looking forward to attend more meetings there. And ohhh...looking forward to check the mail too :)
